对泰国大学录取系统“TCAS”的研究——以清迈大学2023年申请季为例

A Study on the Thai University Admission System “TCAS”—A Case Study of Chiang Mai University’s Application Season 2023

摘要: 泰国自2017年起推行了新的高考录取系统“TCAS”并且历经数次更新，如今已经成为了泰国大学招收学生的重要途径。结合过往研究以及对2023年度清迈大学申请季的研究发现“TCAS”系统拥有考试费用相对低廉、公平性强、人性化、流程简单易懂以及能够高效筛选人才的特点。对于考生来说，“TCAS”的综合评价模式避免了“一考定终身”的局面，也避免了某一位考生挤占多所学校名额的行为。对于高校来说，可以更加理想地选拔适合自身的学生，也减少了教育资源浪费的问题。

Abstract: Thailand’s new entrance exam admission system, TCAS, has been implemented since 2017 and has been updated several times and is now an important way for Thai universities to recruit students. A combination of past research and a study of the 2023 Chiang Mai University application season shows that the TCAS system is relatively inexpensive, fair, user-friendly, easy to understand and highly effective in screening candidates. For candidates, the comprehensive evaluation model of “TCAS” avoids the situation of “one test to rule a lifetime” and the behavior of one candidate crowd-ing the places of many schools. For universities, they can select students who are suitable for them in a more ideal way, and the problem of wasting educational resources is also reduced.
