An Analysis of the Chinese Version of Song of Solomon from the Perspective of Signification

摘要: 托妮•莫里森(Toni Morrison, 1931~2019)的代表作《所罗门之歌》(Song of Solomon)无疑是非裔美国文学作品中浓墨重彩的一笔。小亨利•路易斯•盖茨(Henry Louis Gates, Jr.)的意指理论结合语言学和文化学，探究黑人特有的修辞策略，开启了非裔美国文学批评的新篇章。本文试通过从意指角度分析《所罗门之歌》中译本的修辞特色，探究含有意指特色的非裔美国文学作品的汉译策略，以期为愿意在这一领域探索的译者们提供些许参考。

Abstract: Toni Morrison’s (1931~2019) masterpiece, Song of Solomon, is absolutely one of the most significant works of African American literature. Combining linguistics and culturology, Henry Louis Gates Jr.’s theory of signification opens a new chapter in exploring African American literary criticism. This paper tries to analyze the rhetorical features of the Chinese version of Song of Solomon from the perspective of signification, and explore the translation strategies of African American literary works, so as to provide some clues for translators who are willing to study in this field.
