目的论视角下贵州苗族特色文化词翻译策略

Translation Strategies of Guizhou Miao Characteristic Cultural Words from the Per-spective of Skopos Theory

摘要: 贵州地区少数民族种类众多，如苗族、侗族、布依族等。为推动贵州地区少数民族文化宣传，从而进一步推动我国少数民族外宣发展，实现跨文化交流，从目的论入手对贵州苗族特色文化词的翻译策略进行研究。贵州苗族特色文化词具有术语丰富、口语化的特点，翻译应结合翻译目的论三原则，采用化虚为实表真意、理明词达通内涵、互为借鉴显文化等翻译策略，采用意译以及意译加注、音译加注等多种翻译手段，以达到准确充分地传达贵州少数民族文化，推动少数民族文化走出国门，实现跨文化交流的目的。在翻译教学中，教师要引导学生对苗族特色文化词的语义内涵和文化内涵进行探讨，采用适当的翻译手法，讲好中国故事，传播中国文化。

Abstract: There are many ethnic minorities in Guizhou, such as Miao, Dong and Buyi. In order to promote the C-E international publicity translation of ethnic minorities in Guizhou, further promote the devel-opment of foreign publicity of ethnic minorities in China, and realize cross-cultural communication, this paper studies the translation strategies of Guizhou Miao characteristic cultural words from the perspective of Skopos theory. The characteristic words of Miao culture in Guizhou are characterized by rich terminology and colloquial language. The translation should combine the three principles of Skopos theory, adopt some translation strategies, such as transforming the virtual into the real meaning, clarifying the words to reach the connotation, integrating Chinese and English cultures, and adopt various translation methods, such as free translation, literal translation with notes and transliteration with notes, so as to accurately and fully convey the minority culture in Guizhou. Promote minority cultures to go abroad to achieve the purpose of cross-cultural communication. In translation teaching, teachers should guide students to explore the semantic and cultural connota-tions of characteristic words of Miao culture, and adopt appropriate translation techniques to tell Chinese stories well and spread Chinese culture.
