Abstract: Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a non-specific inflammatory disease that mainly affects the aorta and its major branches. Its etiology is not clear, and may be related to bacterial and viral infections, genetic factors and immune abnormalities. Therefore, the diagnosis and treatment methods are not exactly the same, and its clinical diagnosis and treatment methods are constantly updated. Therefore, this paper will review the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment progress of TA in detail.
