Abstract: Sleep disorder is one of the common mental disorders, and its pathogenesis is unclear, and there is no biomarker that can predict the onset of sleep disorders and assess the severity of sleep disor-ders. Vitamin D deficiency may affect sleep status. This article summarizes the research progress on the effects of vitamin D deficiency on sleep and its potential mechanism, in order to provide a basis for the evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
