Cultural Industry and Social Control—A Modern Reflection on Adorno’s Critical Theory of Popular Cul-ture

摘要: 在法兰克福学派社会批判理论中，阿多诺的大众文化批判理论，以文化作为社会批判的切入点，批判资本主义社会的罪恶。本文探讨了阿多诺关于“文化工业”理论的核心观点及在当代社会的适应性，并对阿多诺理论的局限性进行了批判。旨在为理解当代社会文化动态提供新的视角，并对文化工业与社会控制的关系提出新的思考。

Abstract: In the Frankfurt School’s social critical theory, Adorno’s critical theory of mass culture uses culture as the entry point of social criticism to criticize the evils of capitalist society. This paper explores the core ideas of Adorno’s theory of “culture industry” and its adaptability in contemporary society, and criticizes the limitations of Adorno’s theory. It aims to provide a new perspective for understanding the dynamics of contemporary society and culture, and to put forward new thinking on the rela-tionship between cultural industry and social control.
