多元翻译理论下文化负载词的翻译研究——以《西游记》余国藩英译本第九十九章和第一百章为例

Translation Research on Culturally Loaded Words under the Multiple Translation Theory—Taking Chapter 99 and Chapter 100 of the English Translation of Journey to the West by Guofan Yu as an Example

摘要: 本研究将集中针对原著中各类文化负载词的分析，以吴承恩《西游记》原著和余国藩英译本为双语语料库，从多元翻译理论角度出发，对其中比较典型的文化负载词的翻译进行定量和定性分析，对有悖源语言表意以及不符合目标与读者阅读习惯的地方进行研究修正，从而更加准确地表达其中蕴含的中国文化，有助于中国故事向世界传播。

Abstract: This study focuses on the analysis of various types of culturally loaded words in the original text, taking Cheng’en Wu’s Journey to the West and Guofan Yu’s English translation as the bilingual cor-pus. From the perspective of the multiple translation theory, this passage analyses the outputting translation both quantitatively and qualitatively, and also corrects those that are contrary to the ideology of the source language as well as those that do not conform to the reading habits of the target readers, so as to more accurately express the Chinese culture embedded in the book and contribute to the dissemination of Chinese stories to the world.
