Abstract: Child abuse is a global issue and has been a focal point of social attention for many years. In various cultures and backgrounds, children have historically been treated as secondary entities. In recent years, with the development of society, there has been an increasing emphasis on children’s rights; however, incidents of child abuse continue to be prevalent. Child abuse encompasses aspects such as physical abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. This paper explores the current research progress in this field, covering core concept definitions, the causes of abuse, its impacts, and coping measures.
