Herbological Tracing of the Germplasm of Paeoniae Radix Rubra

摘要: 赤芍的药用历史悠久，至今仍是临床常用的大宗药材。赤芍的种质来源古今认识不尽相同。而种质的差异关乎药材质量以及疗效，是决定药物临床效果的重要因素之一。本文通过对赤芍的种质来源、产地、与白芍分用沿革等方面进行文献梳理及本草考证，明晰赤芍古今种质来源变化情况，旨在为赤芍的临床应用及基础研究提供文献基础。

Abstract: Paeoniae Radix Rubra has a long history of medicinal use, and is still commonly used in clinical medicine. The germplasm source of Paeoniae Radix Rubra is not the same in ancient and modern times. The difference of germplasm is related to the quality and efficacy of medicinal materials, which is one of the important factors to determine the clinical effect of drugs. In this paper, the germplasm source, origin, and history of separation from paeoniae radix alba of literature review and herbal research were conducted to clarify the changes of germplasm sources of Paeoniae Radix Rubra in the ancient and modern times, in order to provide a literature basis for clinical application and basic research of Paeoniae Radix Rubra.
