初中生外语愉悦情绪现状调查研究
A Survey of Students’ Foreign Language Enjoyment in Junior Middle School
摘要: 外语愉悦情绪是指学生在学习外语时感受到的乐趣,是一种高唤醒的积极学业情绪,可划分为外语学习愉悦、教师支持愉悦和同伴支持愉悦三维度。本研究在积极心理学视域下,基于拓展–建构理论,以《英语课堂愉悦量表》为研究工具,对重庆地区不同中学的240名初中生进行调查研究,研究显示:1) 初中生外语愉悦总体处于较高水平,其中教师支持对外语愉悦情绪影响最大。2) 初中生外语愉悦情绪与学习成绩显著正相关,与性别差异不显著。为此,教师应打造和谐融洽的师生关系,开展丰富多样的英语学习活动,强化学生内部学习动机与外部学习动机,共同提升学生的外语愉悦感。
Abstract: Foreign language enjoyment refers to the pleasure students feel when learning a foreign language. It is a kind of positive academic emotion with high arousal, which can be divided into three dimensions: pleasure in foreign language learning, pleasure in teacher support and pleasure in peer support. From the perspective of positive psychology and based on the extended-construction theory, this study adopts literature reading method and questionnaire survey method, and takes the English classroom enjoyment scale as the main research tools to investigate 240 junior middle school students in Chongqing Province. The results show that: 1) Students’ foreign language enjoyment in junior middle school is generally at a high level, and teacher support has the greatest impact on foreign language enjoyment. 2) There is a significant positive correlation between foreign language enjoyment and academic performance of junior middle school students, but no significant correlation with gender. Therefore, teachers should build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, carry out a variety of English learning activities, and strengthen students’ internal and external learning motivation to enhance students' foreign language enjoyment.
