Abstract: Brain tumors are the second most common malignant tumors in children after leukemia. Advances in medical diagnosis and treatment have improved survival rates, but effectively improving cognitive function prognosis remains a challenge. In recent years, research into the prognosis of cognitive function in children with brain tumors has deepened. This article systematically reviews the above studies, exploring the impact of brain tumors on cognitive function in children, related risk factors, and intervention measures, with the aim of improving the cognitive function and quality of life of children with brain tumors.
