初中英语人教版教材文化知识分析
An Analysis of Cultural Knowledge in Junior Middle School English Textbooks
摘要: 英语是国际交流与合作的重要沟通工具,义务教育英语课程体现工具性和人文性的统一。核心素养是课程育人价值的集中体现,英语课程的核心素养包括语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力,其中文化意识体现核心素养的价值取向,即英语学科要培育学生的文化意识,发展跨文化交际能力。课程教材是教学开展的重要资源,教材分析是教师教好的前前提和基础,也是学生学好的关键。英语教材中的文化内容及其呈现方式与学生的文化意识及跨文化交际能力的培养息息相关。本文主要就初中人教版英语教材,采用文本分析法,对人教版初中英语教材进行分析,通过分析后,发现教材文化涉及的比率和内容分布比例不均衡,作为教师首先应该提升自我跨文化交际能力,然后充分开发教材,补充相应的学习资源,灵活处理教材中的文化内容,有意识地培养学生的跨文化交际能力。
Abstract:
English is an important communication tool for international exchange and cooperation, and the compulsory English curriculum embodies the unity of instrumental and humanistic. The core quality of English curriculum includes language ability, cultural awareness, quality of thinking and learning ability, among which cultural awareness reflects the value orientation of the core quality, that is, English discipline should cultivate students’ cultural awareness and develop cross-cultural communication ability. Course material is an important resource for teaching. The analysis of course material is the prerequisite and basis for teachers to teach well, and also the key to students to learn well. This paper mainly analyzes junior high school English textbooks published by People’s Education Press by text analysis. After analysis, it is found that the proportion of teaching materials involved in culture and the proportion of content distribution are unbalanced. As teachers, we should first improve our intercultural communication ability, then fully develop teaching materials, supplement corresponding learning resources, flexibly handle the cultural content in teaching materials, and consciously cultivate students’ intercultural communication ability.
