Research on the Supporting Role of Pavement Design in the Functional Division of Jinan Lixia Cultural Square

摘要: 本论文以济南历下文化广场为研究对象，探讨铺装设计在城市公共空间功能划分中的支撑作用。通过实地勘察，系统梳理了历下文化广场的铺装设计现状及其空间功能区的划分。铺装设计通过选材、配色、布局等方法，有效划分和定义广场空间，引导人流量的分布和聚集，从而提高广场的整体功能性和有效性。历下文化广场的使用已有几十年的时间，通过对其进行研究分析不仅可以学习之前设计师的铺装规划思路，还可以探讨可以用什么样的铺装设计来规划空间，从而提升空间的利用率和周边居民的幸福感。

Abstract: This paper takes Jinan Lixia Cultural Square as the research object, exploring the supporting role of pavement design in the functional division of urban public spaces. Through on-site investigation and questionnaire survey of users, the current situation of pavement design and the division of spatial functional zones of Lixia Cultural Square were systematically sorted out. The pavement design effectively divides and defines the square space through methods such as material selection, color matching, and layout, guiding the distribution and aggregation of pedestrian flow, thereby improving the overall functionality and effectiveness of the square. The use of Lixia Cultural Square has been going on for decades. Through research and analysis, we can not only learn from the paving planning ideas of previous designers, but also explore what kind of paving design can be used to plan space, thereby improving the utilization rate of space and the happiness of surrounding residents.
