Abstract: Abdominal surgery is a common acquired factor in inducing internal hernias. Abnormal pores in the abdominal cavity or adhesion between organs after operation may form a hernia ring or internal hernias, in which intestinal and other abdominal organs are easy to herniate. If they continue to suffer from hernia entrapment, it is easy to cause serious consequences such as intestinal obstruction and even intestinal necrosis. Therefore, patients with suspected intra-abdominal hernia should be diagnosed and treated in time. This paper reports a patient with an internal hernia caused by adhesion of the uterine floor and retroperitoneum after a cesarean section. Due to the relief of symptoms, the patient did not receive surgical treatment at the first time, and then emergency abdominal exploration was performed because of the progression of the disease. The symptoms of intestinal obstruction were relieved in time and prevented intestinal obstruction from progressing to intestinal necrosis. For patients who have previously received abdominal surgery, attention should be paid to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of postoperative internal hernias to ensure the health and safety of patients.
