Evaluation and Implications of Taylor’s Classic Model of Curriculum Development

Abstract:
With its solid educational accumulation and theoretical support, “Taylor’s principle” proposes that the new curriculum reform needs to establish diversified educational objectives. Its essence lies in valuing the subjectivity of learners and stimulating their intrinsic motivation, and advocates that teachers should actively participate in curriculum development and play their guiding and facilitating roles. The in-depth analysis of “Taylor’s principle” not only provides solid theoretical support for modern education reform, but also guides us to explore and practice more effective education methods.
