摘要: “学徒制”是职业教育制度与劳动用工制度相结合的制度,也是关于学徒人力资本投资的制度。本研究采用基于语料库的批判话语分析方法,探讨《泰晤士报》2023年对英国学徒制的话语建构。研究表明,学徒制报道中的话语反映了多元化的视角和复杂的社会反响。一方面,学徒制受到社会的广泛认可,另一方面,其实施过程中遇到的挑战和困境也被显著关注。本文的研究结果为理解学徒制的社会影响提供了语言学视角,以期为中国职业教育领域的发展提供了宝贵的经验和启示。
Abstract: “Apprenticeship” is a system that integrates vocational education with employment practices and constitutes an investment in human capital for apprentices. This study employs a corpus-based critical discourse analysis to explore the discursive construction of apprenticeship in The Times in 2023. The findings indicate that the discourse surrounding apprenticeships in the media reflects diverse perspectives and complex social reactions. On one hand, apprenticeships are widely recognized by society; on the other hand, the challenges and difficulties encountered during their implementation are significantly highlighted. This study provides a linguistic perspective on understanding the social impact of apprenticeships, offering valuable insights and lessons for Chinese development of vocational education.
