Abstract: This paper discusses the theoretical basis, practical value and concrete measures of the integration of vocational education and ideological and political education. Firstly, it introduces the theoretical basis of vocational education and ideological and political education, including the theoretical support of skill training, ideological and moral quality. Secondly, it analyzes the practical value of integration, and emphasizes the importance of cultivating all-round development talents, unifying professional quality and social values, improving the comprehensive quality of talents and helping social development. Then it introduces relevant measures such as university curriculum setting, campus culture construction, vocational practice projects, and integration paths and methods such as interdisciplinary curriculum design, teaching method innovation, social practice projects, tutor system construction and comprehensive evaluation mechanism. This paper aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting the cultivation of innovative skill talents.
