Application of Transmate in the Study of English Translation of Tourist Texts

摘要: 本文通过使用Transmate翻译广西旅游景点资料为例来简要介绍Transmate在翻译旅游文本时的使用过程、优缺点及翻译时遇到的难点和解决过程，以期提高对计算机辅助翻译的认识，加强广西旅游景点的对外宣介，促进广西旅游业的发展。研究显示：尽管Transmate的使用可以在翻译旅游文本时大大提高翻译效率，但译者仍然发挥着不可替代的作用。

Abstract: In this paper, a study is made on the translation of the tourist texts of tourist attractions in Guangxi by using the App Transmate to briefly introduce the process, advantages and disadvantages of Transmate in translating tourist texts, as well as difficulties and solutions encountered in translation. The aim is to improve our understanding of computer-aided translation, strengthen the external promotion of tourist attractions in Guangxi, and promote the development of Guangxi’s tourism industry. The study shows that although the use of Transmate can greatly improve translation efficiency, translators still play an irreplaceable role in translating tourist texts.
