“Be Unknown” or “Be Announced”—A Brief Discussion on Privacy Rights of Public Figures

摘要: 社交媒体时代，信息的传播方式、传播内容都发生了巨大的变化。公众人物，因其身份的特殊性，其个人隐私成为了媒体和公众的关注热点。近年来，由于公众关注，媒体默许，加上法律条文尚不明确等原因，侵犯、泄露公众人物隐私的事件频繁发生，公众人物隐私保护一时之间成为了难题。本文从公众人物隐私保护现状出发，探究隐私泄露的原因，并试从国家、媒体平台和公众个人三方面出发，对公众人物隐私权保护提出建议。

Abstract: In the era of social media, the way and content of information dissemination have undergone tremendous changes. Due to the special nature of their identity, the personal privacy of public figures has drawn attention of social media and public attention. In recent years, because of public attention, media acquiescence, and unclear legal provisions, incidents of infringing or leaking the privacy of public figures have occurred frequently. Protecting the privacy of public figures has become a difficult problem for a while. This article starts from the current situation of protecting the privacy of public figures, explores the reasons for privacy leakage, and attempts to provide suggestions for protecting the privacy rights of public figures from three aspects.
