A Philosophical Study of Truth, Error, and Forms of Thought—Based on Descartes’ “Meditations on First Philosophy”

摘要: 本文旨在分析与论述笛卡尔《第一哲学沉思集》中第四沉思的真理与错误观念。在前三沉思中，笛卡尔逐步建立了怀疑一切的方法论基础，并通过怀疑证实了“我思故我在”的信念。在第四沉思中，笛卡尔进一步讨论了真理与错误的根源，从而探寻清晰明确的知识。笛卡尔讨论了产生错误的原因。他指出，错误的产生源于自由意志与智慧判断力之间的失衡。由于自由意志是无限的，而智慧判断力却有限，人类在情况不明时容易做出错误的选择。因此，要避免错误，就要找到一种方法来限制自由意志，使其在清晰明了的认识中行使。深入分析笛卡尔《第一哲学沉思集》中第四沉思的论点，探讨真理与错误的产生及其思维纠正的方法，从中体会笛卡尔第四沉思所带来的智慧与人生启发。

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze and discuss the truth and false ideas of the fourth meditation in Descartes’ Meditations on the First Philosophy. In the first three meditations, Descartes gradually established the methodological basis for doubting everything, and through doubting confirmed the belief that “I think, therefore I am.” In the Fourth meditation, Descartes further discusses the roots of truth and error, in search of clear and definite knowledge. Descartes discusses the cause of the error. He pointed out that errors arise from the imbalance between free will and intellectual judgment. Because free will is infinite and intellectual judgment is limited, human beings are prone to make wrong choices when the situation is unclear. Therefore, to avoid error, it is necessary to find a way to limit free will and to exercise it in clear and clear understanding. The thesis of the Fourth Meditation in Descartes’ Meditations on the First Philosophy is deeply analyzed, the generation of truth and error and the method of thinking correction are discussed, and the wisdom and life enlightenment brought by Descartes’ fourth meditation are understood.
