An Interpretation of the Phonological Status of Thirty Words in Tao Yuanming’s “Drinking (Fifth)”

摘要: 《饮酒(其五)》是晋朝诗人陶渊明创作的组诗《饮酒二十首》的第五首诗，描绘了诗人隐居生活的悠然自得与劳动之余的宁静心境。本文对《饮酒(其五)》中的三十个字进行了细致的音韵学分析，通过探讨每个字的古声母、古韵母、古声调以及开合等音韵学特征，进而揭示这些字在古音系统中的音韵面貌。

Abstract: “Drinking (the fifth)” is the fifth poem of “Twenty Drinking Poems” written by Tao Yuanming, a poet in the Jin Dynasty. It depicts the poet’s leisurely life in seclusion and the quiet state of mind after labor. This paper makes a detailed phonological analysis of the 30 words in “drinking (its fifth)”. By discussing the phonological characteristics of each word, such as ancient initials, ancient finals, ancient tones and opening and closing, the phonological features of these words in the ancient phonetic system are revealed.
