Abstract: With the rapid development of digital technology, e-commerce has become a new economic growth point. This is not only an innovative business model, but also a way to stimulate market vitality, and it has brought new challenges to accounting statement auditing work. E-commerce enterprises face new requirements and challenges for traditional audit methods due to their large data volume, diverse profit models, and complex transaction structures. This article provides a detailed analysis of the difficulties in auditing the financial statements of e-commerce enterprises, including challenges in inventory and cost measurement, tax and regulatory compliance, internal control and risk management, and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, such as optimizing inventory management and cost measurement, improving tax compliance, and strengthening internal control and risk management. This article aims to provide theoretical support and reference for the practice of financial statement auditing in e-commerce enterprises, and promote the healthy development of the e-commerce industry.
