Translation of Movie Subtitles from the Perspective of Skopos Theory—A Case Study of “The Wandering Earth 2”

摘要: 本文从目的论的角度探讨了电影《流浪地球2》的字幕翻译。通过分析该电影字幕翻译的策略和技巧，评估了译文如何满足目标语言观众的预期和需求，以及译者如何在保持原片文化特色和适应目标语言文化之间找到平衡。研究目的在于提出更有效的字幕翻译方法，以增强跨文化交流的质量和效果。

Abstract: ^*通讯作者。This paper explores the subtitle translation of the movie “The Wandering Earth 2” from the perspective of Skopos theory. By analyzing the strategies and techniques used in the subtitling of the film, it evaluates how the translation meets the expectations and needs of the target language audience, and how translators find a balance between maintaining the cultural characteristics of the original film and adapting to the target language culture. The aim of the study is to propose more effective subtitling methods to enhance the quality and effectiveness of cross-cultural communication.
