Study on least approaching distances between 800 kV DC transmission line and 1000 kV AC transmission line a hybrid corridor

It is very important to reasonably determine the approaching distance between 卤800 kV DC transmission line and 1 000 kV AC transmission line for controlling electric field superposition and for fully making use of the corridor when UHV DC and UHV AC line share the same right-of-way. Ignored the interaction between power-frequency electric field and total electric field, the distribution of electric field superposition was studied when UHV DC and AC line were in the hybrid corridor. And the minimum acceptable approaching distance between AC and DC line was confirmed by the weight method, based on the limit values of electric filed under UHVDC and UHVAC line. It shows that the least approaching distances of lines are 85~100 m and 95~115 m respectively, according to the conductor clearance to earth for 卤800 kV DC transmission line and 1 000 kV AC transmission line in non-residential areas and residential areas. If the width of the corridor is restricted, the approaching distance of lines can be reduced by increasing conductor clearance to earth suitability.
