《双城记》的伦理身份与暴力冲突
Charles Dickens’ Philosophy of Violence in the Ethical Knots of A Tale of Two Cities
摘要: 《双城记》以细腻的手法勾勒出法国大革命的真实场景，书中人物的伦理身份加剧了社会的暴力冲突。通过人物身份的突转，狄更斯描述了暴力冲突的基本形态和伦理价值的危机，借助卡尔顿的语言，阐述了他对法国大革命中权力滥用的理解与认识。
Abstract:
This article tries to trace back the real scenes of A Tale of Two Cities to show the complicated ethical knots between the characters and their violent conflicts. With the abrupt turning fates of the characters, Charles Dickens tries to illustrate the basic types of violent conflict and the crisis of moral values. With the final uttering words of Darnay, he expresses his thinking and understanding on the abuses of powers happened in the French Revolution.
