摘要: 基于段义孚的人文主义地理学视角，文章深入探讨美国乡土文学中的恋地情结，以萨拉·奥恩·朱厄特的《一只白苍鹭》为研究对象，分析了主人公与地方关系的变化以及恋地情结的形成过程。研究表明，小说中的恋地情结萌发于环境–感知阶段，发展于生活–态度阶段，升华于景观–价值观阶段，从中可以发现这一情感纽带的形成不仅与地方的物质环境有所关联，更与个体的生理心理息息相关，体现了物质、精神、自然等多维度的和谐互动。文章旨在证明朱厄特的乡土书写不仅表现了人与自然和谐共处的意蕴，更传达了人地相依的深刻内涵，这为理解美国乡土文学提供了新的视角，也丰富了人文主义地理学理论在文学研究中的应用与实践。

Abstract: From the perspective of Yi-Fu Tuan’s humanistic geography, the article conducts an in-depth exploration of topophilia in American local color literature. Focusing on Sarah Orne Jewett’s “A White Heron”, it analyzes the evolution of the protagonist’s relationship with place and the formation of topophilia. The study reveals that the topophilia depicted in the novel germinates in the “environment-perception” stage, develops in the “life-attitude” stage, and sublimates in the “landscape-values” stage, which demonstrates that the formation of such affective bond is not only related to the material environment of a place but is also intimately connected to the individual’s physiological and psychological states, reflecting a harmonious, multi-dimensional interaction between the material, spiritual, and natural realms. It aims to prove that Jewett’s local color writing not only expresses the significance of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature but also conveys the profound connotation of interdependence between people and place. This approach provides a new perspective for understanding American local color literature and enriches the application and practice of humanistic geography theory within literary studies.
