英语例外授格结构的最简句法分析
A Minimalist Analysis of the ECM Construction in English
摘要: 本文在最简方案的理论框架下，通过语段理论和vP壳理论对英语例外授格句的句法生成进行研究。在语段理论下，英语例外授格句中的不定式从句实际上为缺损分句TP，而不是语段CP，由此便可解释例外授格结构中的成分提取现象；通过vP壳理论，探究了英语例外授格结构的句法生成，确定了移位中的落点为Spec-VP并解释了进行移位的动因问题。
Abstract: Taking the minimalist Program as its theoretical framework, this paper employs phase theory and vP shell theory to study the Exceptional Case-marking construction in English. From the perspective of phase theory, the infinitive clause in ECM construction is actually the defective clause TP, not a complete CP, in this way, the extraction in it can be explained; From the perspective of vP shell theory, this paper explores the syntactic generation of ECM construction in English, identifies the place of the moved component and the motivation of the movement.
