企业ESG表现对企业业绩的影响研究——以药明康德为例

A Study on the Impact of Enterprise ESG Performance on Business Performance—Taking WuXi AppTec as an Example

摘要: 企业业绩是否会因为企业ESG表现受到影响？如何通过改善自身ESG表现来提升企业绩效，对于推动企业可持续发展至关重要。本文选择药明康德作为研究对象，主要采用案例分析法，结合相关指标分析ESG表现对企业绩效的影响。研究发现，良好的ESG表现能促进企业财务绩效和非财务绩效的提升。具体体现在以下几方面：(1) 在市场业绩方面，药明康德股价获得超额回报。(2) 在财务业绩方面，较好地提升了抗风险能力，实现融资效率整体增长，提高了企业盈利能力。

Abstract: Will corporate performance be affected by ESG performance? How to improve one’s ESG performance to enhance business performance is crucial for promoting sustainable development of the enterprise. This article selects WuXi AppTec as the research object, mainly using case analysis method and combining relevant indicators to analyze the impact of ESG performance on corporate performance. Research has found that good ESG performance can promote the improvement of financial and non-financial performance in enterprises. Specifically reflected in the following aspects: (1) In terms of market performance, WuXi AppTec’s stock price has achieved excess returns. (2) In terms of financial performance, the company has improved its ability to resist risks, achieved overall growth in financing efficiency, and enhanced its profitability.
