话语历史分析视角下的中医药形象建构——以《泰晤士报》和《纽约时报》为例

The Image Construction of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Perspective of Discourse History Analysis—A Case Study of The Times and The New York Times

摘要: 本文采用语料库驱动的话语历史分析法，通过主题词、搭配词和索引行分析了英美主流媒体《泰晤士报》和《纽约时报》2003~2023年中医药报道的话语主题、话语策略以及实现主题和策略所使用的语言手段，揭示了英美主流媒体所塑造的中医药形象，以及隐藏的情感态度。本研究旨在为扩大话语历史分析研究对象范围的同时检验范式的适用性，同时为中国在实现中医药“走出去”提供启示和参考数据。

Abstract: With the help of the corpus driven discourse-historical approach (DHA), we analyze the topics, discursive strategies, and linguistic means of TCM reporting in The Times and The New York Times from 2003 to 2023 by keywords, collocations, and index lines. We reveal the image of TCM and the hidden attitudes shaped by the mainstream media in the UK and United States. This study aims to expand the scope of DHA while testing the applicability of the paradigm, and to provide inspiration and reference data for China’s efforts to achieve the “going global” of TCM.
