Research Progress on Pt-Based and Pd-Based Catalysts for Direct Methanol Fuel Cells
摘要: 直接甲醇燃料电池(Direct Methanol Fuel Cells, DMFCs)因其具备低温发电、结构简单、洁净环保等特点,受到了广泛关注。目前,研究人员正积极探索开发成本低廉且催化活性高的实用催化剂,以提高DMFCs的效率。本文阐述了DMFCs的发展优势和工作原理,总结近年来研究人员对DMFCs阴极和阳极催化剂方面的研究进展,主要涵盖铂(Pt)基和钯(Pd)基催化剂的设计、合成及其催化活性。最后,本文展望了DMFCs催化剂未来的研究方向和应用前景。
Abstract: Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) have garnered significant attention due to their advantages of low-temperature power generation, simple structure, and environmentally friendly operation. Currently, researchers are actively exploring the development of practical catalysts that are both cost-effective and possess high catalytic activity to enhance the efficiency of DMFCs. This article discusses the development advantages and working principles of DMFCs, and reviews recent research progress on cathode and anode catalysts, with a focus on the design, synthesis, and catalytic activity of platinum (Pt) and palladium (Pd) based catalysts. Finally, the article explores future research directions and application prospects for DMFCs catalysts.
