Social Reintegration of the Silver-Haired Group—An Exploration of the Causes and Effects of Older Adults’ Micro-Short Drama Viewing Behavior

摘要: 满足老年人的数字化生存需求并支持其进行社会参与，是智媒时代积极老龄化的精髓与核心。笔者旨在深入探讨老年群体对微短剧的观看行为，通过质性研究发现：老年用户在微短剧中不仅能够获得娱乐享受，还能够释放情感、缓解孤独，并促进代际连结以及缓解社交退化与社交隔离。这也提升了老年人对智能手机的使用意愿，使老年群体能更深层地融入数字社会。随着微短剧的商业化发展，也必须警惕其可能带来的负面影响，如身体健康风险、财产安全风险，以及对老年人深层次陪伴需求的忽视。

Abstract: Satisfying the digital survival needs of the elderly and supporting their social participation is the essence and core of active aging in the age of smart media. The author aims to explore in-depth the viewing behavior of older adults on micro-episodic dramas, and finds through qualitative research that older users not only get entertainment enjoyment from micro-episodic dramas, but also release their emotions, alleviate loneliness, and promote intergenerational connection as well as alleviate social degradation and social isolation. This also enhances the willingness of the elderly to use smartphones, enabling them to integrate more deeply into the digital society. With the commercialization of microshorts, it is also important to be wary of their possible negative impacts, such as physical health risks, property safety risks, and neglect of the deeper needs of older adults for companionship.
