论短视频文化现象——基于大众文化批判角度
On the Phenomenon of Short Video Culture—From the Perspective of Mass Culture Criticism
摘要: 短视频作为一种新兴的网络媒介的方式,在社会范围内兴起并且取得较大的成功的同时,也导致了个体创造性的丧失,理性批判和超越维度的丧失以及审美的异化等消极影响。短视频之所以存在这些弊端在于它的实质是文化工业的一种表现形式。法兰克福学派对文化工业做出了深刻的批判,他们从文化艺术活动的本质规定性出发,反思了文化艺术在发达工业社会当中严重的异化现象,深刻揭示出现代发达工业社会中大众文化的平庸化、商品化和意识形态的功能。虽然该理论存在局限性,但对于我们全面反思当下短视频文化现象的影响,争取文化市场的健康发展有重要的启示。
Abstract: As a new way of network media, short video has emerged and achieved great success in society. At the same time, it also leads to the loss of individual creativity, the loss of rational criticism and transcendence dimension, and the alienation of aesthetics. The reason why short video has these disadvantages is that its essence is a form of expression of the cultural industry. Frankfurt scholars made a profound criticism on the cultural industry. Starting from the essential regulation of cultural and artistic activities, they reflected on the serious alienation of culture and art in the developed industrial society, and deeply revealed the mediocrity, commercialization and ideological function of mass culture in the modern developed industrial society. Although the theory has limitations, it has important enlightenment for us to comprehensively reflect on the impact of the current short video culture phenomenon and strive for the healthy development of the cultural market.
