Abstract: This paper uses the English translation of the essay collection An Eternal Lamb as an example to explore the role of cultural factors in translation criticism. Through the case study of An Eternal Lamb, an English translation of this collection of essays, the influence of cultural factors on translation criticism is deeply analyzed, including translation evaluation criteria, translation criticism perspectives, and practical case analysis.
