An Analytical Study of the Zhenggu Techniques within the Xie School of Traditional Bone Setting

摘要: 谢氏正骨作为四川省非物质文化遗产及中医正骨学的重要分支，在诸多传统正骨治疗方法中独树一帜，其源于中医正骨学而又特色鲜明。在其百余年的传承应用中，谢氏总结了大量诊断、治疗的方法和理论，形成了一套独特的诊疗技术，临床取得了良好的效果。谢氏正骨在正骨手法、触诊方法及外治法方面有极大的创新，这些进步为中医正骨学的发展提供了新的线索与方向。

Abstract: As an intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan Province and a significant branch of traditional Chinese bone-setting (orthopedics), Xie’s Bone-Setting stands out among various traditional bone-setting methods with its distinctive characteristics. It was founded in the classic Chinese bone-setting theory that it was able to create a special kind of identity. Over its century-long practice and application, Xie’s Bone-Setting has summarized numerous diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, forming a distinct system of diagnosis and treatment that has yielded excellent clinical outcomes. Xie’s Bone-setting method has made significant innovations in bone-setting techniques, palpation methods, and external treatment methods. These advancements have provided new clues and directions for the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) bone-setting.
