新课标视域下初中英语教学中学生文化意识培养的现状与策略
The Current Situation and Strategies of Cultivating Students’ Cultural Awareness in Middle School English Teaching under the Perspective of the New Curriculum Standard
摘要: 文化意识作为英语学科核心素养之一,在英语教学中一直占据着重要地位。然而在实际初中英语课堂中教师和学生对文化意识的重视程度不足以及了解程度不够,导致文化意识培养的效果不理想。文章通过分析当前初中英语教学中文化意识培养存在的问题,结合新课标对文化意识的理论阐述,提出了一系列有效地融合文化元素的教学策略,以期在激发学生文化学习自主性的同时,促进学生对不同文化的理解,培养学生跨文化交际的能力,为初中英语教学的改进提供有益的启示。
Abstract: Cultural awareness, as one of the core literacies of English discipline, has always occupied an important position in English teaching. However, in the actual junior middle school English teaching, teachers and students do not pay enough attention to cultural awareness as well as do not know enough about it, which leads to unsatisfactory results in the cultivation of cultural awareness. The article analyzes the problems of cultivating cultural awareness in junior middle school English teaching, combines the theoretical elaboration of cultural awareness with the new curriculum standard, and puts forward a series of effective teaching strategies for integrating cultural elements, with a view to stimulating students’ autonomy in cultural learning, promoting students’ understanding of different cultures, and fostering students’ cross-cultural communicative competence, so as to provide useful insights for the improvement of junior middle school English teaching.
