英汉对比视角下的影视字幕翻译

Subtitle Translation from the Perspective of English and Chinese Contrast

摘要: 字幕翻译是为了让目的语观众获得和源语观众近似的观影效果。观众对字幕的首要需求就是字幕的信息功能。即使是本国语言的影视作品字幕的存在也是不可或缺的。当今时代下的进出口影片数量已经数不胜数，英汉双语字幕的存在仿佛也已经成为了影片本身的一部分；字幕翻译的重要性可想而知。本文以英汉对比理论为视角，探讨字幕翻译对影视作品的影响。

Abstract: The function of subtitle translation is to give the target language audience a viewing effect similar to that of the source language audience. The audience’s primary demand for subtitles is the information function of subtitles. Even the existence of subtitles for film and television works in the domestic language is indispensable. In the current era, the volume of imported and exported films has become innumerable, and the presence of bilingual English-Chinese subtitles has seemingly become an integral part of the films themselves. The importance of subtitle translation is, therefore, self-evident. This paper, from the perspective of English-Chinese contrast theory, explores the impact of subtitle translation on cinematic works.
