化境论视域下文学作品《看月》的英译研究

An Analysis of the English Translation of Watching the Moon from the Perspective of Sublimation Theory

摘要: 钱钟书在其翻译理论中强调“化境”这一概念，认为文学作品的魅力不仅在于表面的字句，更在于通过语言的转换，构建出一个独特的境界与氛围。本文从钱钟书的“化境论”视角出发，分析了叶圣陶所著散文《看月》的张培基英译本，探讨了译者如何在语言与文化的转换中实现情感与意境的再创造。

Abstract: The concept of sublimation is emphasised in the translation theory of Qian Zhongshu, which holds that the charm of literary works lies not only in the surface words, but also in the transformation of language, building a unique state and atmosphere. From the perspective of sublimation theory, this paper analyzes Zhang Peiji’s English translation of Ye Shengtao’s essay Watching the Moon, which probes into how the translator realizes the re-creation of emotion and artistic conception in the transformation of language and culture.
