Abstract: This study reviews the research achievements in the field of selective trust of children aged 3 to 6 years old. It deeply explores the trust judgment mechanisms of young children based on the reliability of information and the characteristics of information providers, analyzes the influencing factors, elaborates on the research paradigms, and puts forward improvement suggestions and future research directions. The study finds that the selective trust of young children is influenced by various factors, and each research paradigm has its own advantages and disadvantages. Future research should focus on theoretical integration, cross-cultural expansion, and educational applications to promote the development of this field and provide strong support for early childhood education practices.
