生育信息浏览对大学生生育意愿的影响——育儿胜任感的中介作用
The Impact of Fertility Information Browsing on College Students’ Fertility Intentions—The Mediating Role of Parenting Sense of Competence

摘要: 目的:研究旨在探讨互联网上的生育信息对生育意愿的影响。方法采用相关问卷对340名在校大学生进行调查,有效问卷314份。结果分析表明在互联网上浏览积极和消极生育信息对生育意愿的预测作用显著(β = 0.058, p < 0.001; β = −0.749, p < 0.001)。育儿胜任感对生育意愿的预测作用也显著(β = 0.019, p < 0.001)。结论:(1) 在互联网中浏览生育信息会对个人的生育意愿产生影响。浏览积极的生育信息会提高人们的生育意愿,浏览消极的生育信息会降低人们的生育意愿。其中,浏览消极生育信息的比浏览积极生育信息的更大。(2) 此外,育儿胜任感在浏览积极生育信息和生育意愿中起到中介作用,即在互联网上浏览积极的生育信息通过增强育儿胜任感进而增强生育意愿。
Abstract: Objective: The number of newborns in China is steadily decreasing, and people’s fertility intentions are generally low. Improving the fertility rate has become an urgent issue. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of online fertility information on fertility intentions and examine the mediating role of parenting self-efficacy. Methods A survey was conducted with 340 university students using questionnaires on fertility intentions, fertility information, and parenting self-efficacy. A total of 314 valid questionnaires were collected, with an average age of 21.24 years. Results browsing positive and negative fertility information on the internet has a significant predictive effect on fertility intentions (β = 0.058, p < 0.001; β = −0.749, p < 0.001). The predictive effect of parenting self-efficacy on fertility intentions is also significant (β = 0.019, p < 0.001). Conclusion: (1) Browsing fertility-related information on the internet affects individuals’ fertility intentions. Browsing negative fertility information decreases fertility intentions. The impact of negative fertility information is greater than that of positive fertility information. (2) Moreover, parenting self-efficacy plays a mediating role between browsing positive fertility information and fertility intentions, meaning that browsing positive fertility information enhances parenting self-efficacy, which in turn increases fertility intentions.
