教学信念对高中英语教师教学行为的影响
The Influence of Teaching Beliefs on High School English Teachers’ Teaching Behaviour
摘要: 教学信念是教师在长期教学实践中形成的关于课程、教学、学生角色、教师职责及专业发展等方面的基本认知与态度。它不仅深刻影响着教师的教学方式与成效,还对学生的学习态度、方法及效率产生重要影响,甚至进一步塑造学生的世界观、价值观和人生观。教师能否突破传统教学观念的束缚,是教育教学改革能否成功推进的关键因素。在英语教学过程中,教师会将个人的信念,包括对学习、学生以及自我的信念带入到这一过程中。文章通过对英语教学信念和教学行为的基本内容,探讨了教师信念与教学行为关系,讲述了教学信念对英语教师教学行为的影响,并且提出了高中英语教师教学信念的构建方法,从而为提高英语教学效率提供了新视角。
Abstract: Teaching beliefs are the basic cognitions and attitudes about curriculum, teaching, students’ roles, teachers’ duties and professional development formed by teachers in long-term teaching practice. It not only profoundly influences teachers’ teaching style and effectiveness, but also has an important impact on students’ learning attitudes, methods and efficiency, and even further shapes students’ worldview, values and outlook on life. Whether teachers can break through the boundaries of traditional teaching concepts is a key factor in the successful promotion of education and teaching reform. In the process of teaching English, teachers bring their personal beliefs, including beliefs about learning, students, and self, into the process. This paper discusses the relationship between teachers’ beliefs and teaching behaviors through the basic content of English teaching beliefs and teaching behaviors, describes the influence of teaching beliefs on English teachers’ teaching behaviors, and proposes a method for constructing high school English teachers’ teaching beliefs, thus providing a new perspective for improving the efficiency of English teaching.
