摘要: 黑格尔在《法哲学原理》中以辩证逻辑重构自由意志的本质,揭示其从抽象潜能到现实化的完整历程。自由并非静态权利或主观任性,而是通过否定之否定的辩证运动,在个体与普遍性的矛盾统一中实现自身。初始的抽象自我以无规定性的纯粹反思为特征,虽彰显主体超越本能的能力,却因空洞性沦为破坏性力量。随后,意志通过接受自然与社会的规定进入具体化阶段,但此过程仍受偶然性支配,暴露出主客对立的局限。最终,自由在伦理实体中完成了主客观统一:个体意志融入普遍理性,法律与道德不再是外在束缚,而是主体自我立法的产物。黑格尔批判经验心理学与形式主义自由观,强调自由需通过历史性的中介过程才能摆脱抽象性,在自在自为状态中实现其真理性既是个体选择的权利,亦是普遍理性的现实表达。
Abstract: In Elements of the Philosophy of Right, Hegel reconstructs the essence of free will through dialectical logic, revealing its complete progression from abstract potentiality to actualization. Freedom is neither a static right nor subjective arbitrariness; rather, it realizes itself through the dialectical movement of negation-of-negation, achieving unity within the contradiction between individuality and universality. The initial abstract self, characterized by indeterminate pure reflection, demonstrates the subject’s capacity to transcend instinct yet degenerates into a destructive force due to its emptiness. Subsequently, the will enters a stage of concretization by accepting natural and social determinations, yet this process remains dominated by contingency, exposing the limitations of subject-object opposition. Ultimately, freedom achieves subjective-objective unity in the ethical substance: individual will merges with universal rationality, where law and morality cease to be external constraints but become products of the subject’s self-legislation. Hegel critiques the empiricist psychology and formalist views of freedom, emphasizing that freedom must transcend abstractness through a historical mediatory process. Its truth is realized in the state of being in-and-for-itself—both a right of individual choice and the actual expression of universal rationality.
