Abstract: With the rapid increase in global myopia rates, myopia has become a major public health issue. This article reviews the current status and latest progress in myopia treatment by consulting relevant literature in recent years, covering aspects such as optical intervention, drug therapy, surgical and laser therapy, and potential future treatment methods. It aims to provide references for the selection of treatment plans for different myopia populations. Moreover, it proposes that in the future, interdisciplinary cooperation should be strengthened, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence should be combined to develop personalized myopia management plans, providing new ideas for myopia prevention and control, with the goal of achieving more effective myopia management.
