“材料化学专业英语”课程教学改革探索与实践——以辽宁科技大学材料与冶金学院为例

Exploration and Practice of the Teaching Reform of “Professional English in Material Chemistry” Course—Taking School of Materials and Metallurgy, University of Science and Technology Liaoning as an Example

摘要: 基于“新工科”建设背景，构建“三维四驱”教学模式，通过整合区域产业资源、创新教学方法、建立数字化平台等举措，形成“专业基础–产业实践–创新应用”三位一体的课程体系。改革后学生专业文献阅读效率提升37.2%，技术文档撰写合格率提高42.6%，考研复试英语通过率提升20.8%。该模式为地方高校专业英语教学改革提供了可借鉴的经验。

Abstract: Based on the background of the “New Engineering Education” construction, a “Three-Dimensional and Four-Drive” teaching mode has been constructed. Through measures such as integrating regional industrial resources, innovating teaching methods, and establishing a digital platform, a trinity curriculum system of “professional foundation - industrial practice - innovative application” has been formed. After the reform, the efficiency of students’ professional literature reading has increased by 37.2%, the passing rate of technical document writing has increased by 42.6%, and the passing rate of English in the postgraduate entrance examination re-examination has increased by 20.8%. This mode provides referable experience for the teaching reform of professional English in local colleges and universities.
