Using Contact Theory to Analyze the Chinese Elements in Korean Idioms

摘要: 韩国和中国有着悠久的文化交往史，尤其在古代，两国的文化交流频繁，深刻影响了韩国的语言、文学与民俗。在这种文化交流的背景下，韩国俗谈作为重要的语言文化形式，深受中国文化元素的影响。本文借用接触理论，通过具体的俗谈案例，研究揭示了中国成语、典故、历史人物、地名等文化内容如何通过韩国俗谈传递深厚的中国文化影响。本文从直接引用、化用、演绎改造等角度，分析了中韩文化交流的历史背景与其在语言和民俗层面的深度融合。

Abstract: Korea and China share a long history of cultural exchange, particularly in ancient times when frequent interactions profoundly influenced Korean language, literature, and folklore. Against this backdrop, Korean proverbs, as a significant linguistic and cultural form, have been deeply impacted by Chinese cultural elements. Through specific case studies, this paper explores how Chinese idioms, allusions, historical figures, and place names are embedded in Korean proverbs, reflecting the profound influence of Chinese culture. By examining direct quotations, adaptations, and reinterpretations, this study analyzes the historical background of Sino-Korean cultural exchanges and their deep integration within language and folklore.
