Abstract: Through optical coherence tomography OCT technology was used to measure the shortest distance from the Bruch membrane opening (BMO) to the inner limiting membrane, namely the Bruch membrane opening-minimal rim width (BMO-MRW). To explore the application value of the OCT measurement index BMO-MRW in the early diagnosis and follow-up evaluation of optic neuropathy in glaucoma patients. This study included a cross-sectional study, collecting 75 glaucoma subjects and 15 healthy controls who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from January 2018 to January 2025. The differences in BMO-MRW and pRNFL values by OCT technology were used, and statistical analysis was applied to compare the diagnostic efficacy of the two.
