Abstract: With the continuous development of economic globalization, modern information technology has transformed people’s modes of production and ways of life. The advancement of digital information technology has given rise to new forms of labor. Analyzing and understanding the issues surrounding digital labor in the context of the digital economy era holds significant importance for social progress and the development of the digital economy. China has already entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At this stage of building a strong socialist country with Chinese characteristics, a profound understanding of digital labor issues and their practical significance is crucial. Addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital economy in this new era is a vital measure for advancing high-quality digital economic development under socialism with Chinese characteristics and establishing China as an economic powerhouse.
