认知语言学视角下《劝道文》的概念隐喻研究
A Metaphor Study of Quandao Wen from the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics
摘要: 本文基于认知语言学中的概念隐喻理论,结合Charteris-Black的隐喻批评分析方法,对道教南宗代表人物白玉蟾所著的《劝道文》进行隐喻识别与认知分析。文章首先识别出文本中的明喻、隐喻与具隐喻功能的典故表达,并就文化认知维度、认知图式结构与语篇功能三个方面展开详尽的分析。研究发现,《劝道文》通过丰富的意象构建体现了道教关于修行、生命与宇宙观的认知结构,隐喻在其中不仅承载宗教哲理,也发挥劝化与引导的核心功能。该研究旨在为道教语篇的语言学研究提供认知视角的理论支持与实践样本,具有较为重要的学术价值和实践意义。
Abstract: Drawing on the theory of conceptual metaphor in cognitive linguistics and Charteris-Black’s three-step model of critical metaphor analysis, this paper examines the metaphorical expressions in Quandao Wen, a Taoist didactic text by Bai Yuchan of the Southern Sect. The study identifies metaphorical expressions including similes, implicit metaphors, and culturally embedded allusions, and analyzes them from three perspectives: cultural cognition, image schemas, and discourse functions. Findings show that metaphors in the text construct Taoist views of cultivation, life, and cosmology, while also serving rhetorical and persuasive purposes. This research contributes to provide theoretical support and practical samples from a cognitive perspective for the linguistic study of Taoist discourse, and it holds considerable academic value and practical significance.
