Abstract: In recent years, a large number of studies at home and abroad have focused on the role of vitamin D and vitamin D receptor (VDR) in the occurrence and development of cancer. In addition to maintaining mineral homeostasis and bone function, vitamin D also has the function of inhibiting cell proliferation, inducing cell differentiation, apoptosis and immune regulation. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that vitamin D and vitamin D receptors play an important role in the pathogenesis of cervical lesions and cervical cancer, and may become a new entry point in the treatment of cervical lesions and cervical cancer in the future. This article reviews the research status of vitamin D and its receptors in cervical lesions and cervical cancer.
