翻译软件在研究生英语学习中的影响——以“小绿鲸”英文文献阅读器为例

The Influence of Translation Software on Postgraduate English Learning—Taking “Xiaolvjing” English Literature Reader as an Example

摘要: 数字技术不断推动着学术英语学习环境的改变，如今在研究生们使用的电子设备上常能见到一个墨绿色图标呈现的翻译软件“小绿鲸”，最新调查表明在全国重点高校中有超过六成的研究生惯常依赖该翻译软件辅助英文文献阅读。本研究将从建构主义理论的角度出发，以“小绿鲸”翻译软件为例，探讨翻译软件在研究生英语学习中存在的问题及相应的策略。

Abstract: Digital technology continues to drive changes in the academic English learning environment. Nowadays, the translation software “Xiaolvjing”, represented by an emerald green icon, can often be found on the electronic devices used by postgraduates. The latest survey shows that more than 60% of postgraduates in key universities across the country habitually rely on this translation software to assist in reading English literature. From the perspective of the constructivism theory, this study takes the “Xiaolvjing” translation software as an example to explore the existing problems and corresponding strategies of translation software in postgraduate English learning.
