连贯与重构:伊藤漱平《红楼梦》谶诗日译谫论
Coherence and Reconstruction: Preliminary Discussion on Japanese Translation of Prophecy Poetry in “Hong Lou Meng” from the Work of Ito Sohei
摘要: 《红楼梦》凭借谶语绾结起呈现网状结构性特点的谶应预言叙事体系,其中谶诗是韵文形式的谶语,第五回判词判曲为“谣谶式”谶诗,以独特制谶手法隐叙情节走向、人物命运结局,包含大量谶性信息。本文主要从信息显隐、用谶的照应性、诗学语言翻译的视角考察伊藤漱平1996 Library本判词判曲中谶性信息传递情况、用谶形式保留情况及其翻译策略。认为伊藤漱平的谶诗翻译力图平衡翻译的充分性和可接受性,与国译本和松枝译本相比训读痕迹减弱,更重视翻译的可接受性,存在未保留相关源语汉字词的不充分译,因而出现少量谶性信息缺损,存在用谶形式未完整保留的情况,消解了部分原作本存在的谶性照应关系。
Abstract: “Hong Lou Meng” is a prophetic narrative system with a net-like structure based on prophecies, among which prophetic poetry is prophecy in the form of verse. Judgement verse and judgement songs of Chapter five are the “ballad prophecy” prophetic poetry, which contain a lot of prophetic information by using unique prophecy-making techniques to conceal the direction of the plots and the end of the characters’ destinies. This paper mainly analyzes the transmission of prophetic information, the retention of prophetic forms, and the translation strategies of judgment verse and judgment songs in Ito Sohei’s 1996 Library version from the perspectives of explicit and implicit information, prophecy-using reference, and poetic language translation. It is concluded that Ito Sohei’s translation of the prophetic poetry tries to balance the adequacy and acceptability of the translation, and the traces of literal translation are weakened compared with those of Kokuyaku Kanbun Taisei Kōrōmu and Matueda’s translation, and greater emphasis is placed on the acceptability of translation, but there exist insufficient translations that does not retain the relevant Chinese characters or words of the source language, resulting in a small amount of information defects, incomplete retention of prophetic forms and the dissolution of the original work’s prophetic reference relationship.
